NTT DATA and NVIDIA bring enterprise AI factories to production scale

NTT DATA announced on March 15, 2024 that it is partnering with NVIDIA to deliver enterprise AI factories at production scale. The joint offering integrates NVIDIA GPU‑accelerated computing, high‑performance networking, and AI Enterprise software such as NeMo and NIM microservices into a full‑stack agentic AI platform deployable in cloud and edge environments.

NTT DATA, a global IT services provider, has been expanding its AI services portfolio amid rising demand for scalable AI solutions. NVIDIA’s AI Enterprise suite has become a standard for enterprise GPU workloads, and the partnership aims to simplify deployment across hybrid infrastructures.

By packaging GPU hardware, networking, and AI software into a repeatable factory model, the collaboration lowers the barrier to entry for enterprises that previously struggled with heterogeneous AI stacks. The agentic AI platform promises rapid iteration and continuous learning, potentially accelerating time‑to‑value for sectors like finance, manufacturing, and healthcare. However, the model still relies on NVIDIA’s proprietary ecosystem, which may limit cross‑vendor flexibility.

Large enterprises with existing NVIDIA infrastructure, especially those in regulated industries, will benefit most. They should monitor how the platform handles compliance, data residency, and cost‑efficiency. The next step will be to see whether the solution can be extended to multi‑cloud and open‑source frameworks.

  • NTT DATA + NVIDIA launch repeatable AI factory for cloud and edge.
  • Platform bundles GPU, networking, and AI Enterprise software into one stack.
  • Enterprises will watch cost, compliance, and multi‑cloud support next.
